The Ministry of Health and Population’s Family Planning Sector, in collaboration with UNFPA, kicked off the third round of the “Your Right to Plan” campaign in 10 governorates, funded by the European Union in Egypt.

The campaign is taking place from 15 to 26 June in Kafr El-Sheikh, Beni Suef, Sohag, Aswan, Menufiya, Cairo, Suez, Ismailia, Luxor and the Red Sea.

The campaign aims to provide access to family planning and reproductive health services, raise community awareness and increase demand for family planning services.

The campaign will ultimately increase the rate of use of family planning methods and reduce fertility rates, which will contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
