The workshop included reviewing of the proposed strategic objective of the plan, outlining its objectives and targets, evaluating and prioritizing issues of concern in the light of the proposed criteria, reviewing the analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges and identifying the most important interventions in responding to the prioritized issues.

In preparation of this plan, a desk review of all relevant documents and studies was carried out beforehand, including the National Population and Family Planning Strategy 2015-2030 and its 2015-2020 Plan as well as the current assessment of family planning methods.
