Family planning brochures featuring different contraception methods
The family planning brochures are designed to help women make the right choice about their contraception method, and ensure that they are aware of the medical eligibility, the timing to start its use, when and how to use it, follow-up schedule, the side effects, as well as of the danger signs that require seeking medical care. The brochures were produced by the Ministry of Health and Population, with technical support from UNFPA, under the EU Support of the National Population Strategy project.

Ministry of Health, UNFPA launch Costed Implementation Plans to project contraceptive needs, with EU support
The Ministry of Health and Population in cooperation with UNFPA and the support of the European Union held a workshop on June 7, 2022, to launch the National Costed Implementation Plan (CIP), along with 27 sub-national CIPs, which is a tool to project the contraceptive needs nationwide for the period between 2022-2026.

Costed Implementation Plan To Ensure Contraceptives Security
In the context of the support provided by UNFPA to the Ministry of Health and Population, it was agreed to prepare a five-year costed implementation plan (CIP) to implement a series of interventions to ensure commodity security for family planning program in addition estimate required funds to implement identified interventions, to ensure the mobilization of required funds through the government or donor agencies.
