The World health Organisation (WHO) and Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) established appropriate infant and young child feeding practices for children between the ages of 6-23 months. The practices include the timely initiation of feeding solid/semi-solid foods from 6 months and onwards, and strictly monitoring the amount of food and frequency feeding as the child age gets older.
