UNFPA and the Ministry of Health and Population’s Family Planning Sector kicked off the second round of the Your Right to Plan campaign, supported by the European Union in Egypt. The campaign works to raise awareness around rights-based family planning, to help men and women in reproductive age make informed choices about the number and spacing between children.

It also offered free family planning and reproductive health services in nine governorates across Egypt through fixed and mobile clinics, public and central hospitals, and maternal and child health centers.

The campaign took place in the governorates of Fayoum, Beheira, Damietta, Assiut, Qalubiya, Port Said, South Sinai, Marsa Matrouh and Alexandria.
